Fishing Lures
An integral part of attracting the fish into your boat is done with fishing lures. These are typically small pieces of almost any material that are used to attract a fish. The attraction is done by integrating many different colors and metallic surfaces that are lightweight which will wobble through the water. Typically on the end of this, hooks are added.
Fishing lures are the primary method of catching a fish. The attraction, as said, is done by flickering of movement of a highly colorful and sometimes reflective surface, although, depending on the fish you’re attempting to catch, a lure that is the color of that fish’s favorite fish will serve quite nicely. Small bits of food, like crumbled bread, as well as the stereotypical worm on a hook will also serve the purpose in a more traditional manner.
Fish lures have been known to have one, two, or even three hooks attached to them, all to make sure that the fish is thoroughly grabbed and capable of being reeled in by the angler. This means that depending on the fish you’re attempting to catch, be it a simple rainbow trout or a shark in the Caribbean, the fishing lures must be strong enough not to break and must be used in conjunction with a line and rod of the proper power classification.
